New series of paintings

This month I've begun the process of sketching, preparing and planning a new series of mixed media paintings on wood, watercolor paper and canvas. My goal is to complete these in time for Fremont Gallery's group exhibits later this year, October and December.

Alana's Tattoo

Painting commission for Alana Hardy, whose an absolutely stunning and a terrific model whose become a close friend. This was an ungoing process that took about 3-4 months to complete. I used water-soluble oil paints on a 24" x18" canvas.
